AES/EBU cabling system
The TEQSAS AES/EBU cabling system has been developed for live and touring applications. It is extrem rugged and easy to handle.
It has the following features: 64 channels of digital audio via one cable
1 RS422 control signal transmission
Extrem rigid MIL connector
Very flexible and rigid multicore cable with a diameter of only 10mm!
Cable length up to 150m (at 48kHz)
The cabling system has been special designed for the Yamaha digital consoles (PM5D, DM2000, DM1000, 02R96, 01V96). It adapts the 25 pol. connector of the Yamaha MY8-AES cards to a rigid MIL connector. The user can define for blocks of 8 channels wether the signal flow direction is IN or OUT.
The panel AESP1 handles 32 audio channels, the panel AESP2 handles 64 audio channels.
In addition to that the cabling system transmits the RS422 control signals that you need to remote control the Yamaha audio converters.
