reco TX is a universal remote controller, that controls any Windows based computer via a standard wireless Lan (802.11g, 54MBit/s). The hardware is a tablet computer with a touch sensitive 10,4'' screen (XGA). There is no keyboard. Every control is made with a pen.
reco TX is built in a rugged housing that is water and dust proof.
reco TX uses a harddiskless computer platform that runs a special embedded LINUX OS. The operation system realises only one function: to remote control software that is running on a Windows computer. The user can not install any new software that might crash reco TX.
reco TX works with the standard WLan antennas within a radius of 50m. The range can easely be increased with an optional directed antenna (60° horizontal+vertical) up to 150m.

It works in a range with 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency.
