Cabling for Yamaha MY cards



 

Yamaha offers expansion cards in its own MY-format for their digital consoles and mixing engines. These cards add audio ports to the mixing consoles/engines, e.g. analog I/O or digital I/O (AES/EBU). Yamaha uses 25pol. DSub connectors on their cards.

The TEQSAS MY cabling adapts these 25pol. DSub connectors to e.g. XLR connectors.


XLR16 panel



The TEQSAS XLR16 panel is a unversal panel for Yamaha MY cards that use 25 DSub connectors.

It has 2 x 8 XLR connectors on the front, that are adapted to 2 x 25pol. Dsub connectors (1m cable) on the rear.

The panel is available in 3 standard types:

  1. XLR16YDA
  2. XLR16YAD
  3. XLR16YAE

 

The XLR16YDA panel has 16 XLR male connectors on the front and is used with 2 Yamaha MY8DA cards.

The XLR16YAD panel has 16 XLR female connectors on the front and is used with 2 Yamaha MY8AD cards.

The XLR16YAE panel has 8 XLR female and 8 XLR male connectors on the front and is used with 2 Yamaha MY8AE cards.
